Arctic Biodiversity Assessment

In this comprehensive assessment of arctic biodiversity and ecosystems, COAT contributed with analyses of monitoring data that focused on changes and gradients in the predator community on Varanger Peninsula, impacts of rain-on-snow events on the community of winter resident animals in Svalbard and comparisons of food web structures across bio-climate zones within the tundra biome.

Six COAT researchers were authors of the terrestrial ecosystem chapter, while two were authors of the overall synthesis chapter of the assessment.
