Each year, AMINOR holds 4-5 groups discussions lasting between 2 to 4 hours. These afternoon discussions aim at gathering researchers and students to discuss a topic of interest based on a series of research articles that were recently published and/or a presentation from guest researchers. Afternoon discussions allow member to assess and reflect on analytical methods and conceptual advances linked to central problems within different monitoring and management schemes. Members can attend the afternoon discussions through videoconferencing.

To receive notifications for upcoming Afternoon discussions, you need to sign-up to the AMINOR Slack workspace and adding the channel “afternoon-discussions” (see here for how to add a channel).

If you have an “@uit.no” “@hi.no” “@npolar.no” or “@nina.no” email address, you should automatically have access to the AMINOR Slack workspace.
